Change at HMSA

Led by HMSA’s senior executive staff, we have renewed our commitment to change and innovation and revitalized our corporate culture. We’ve realigned our corporate structure and shared updated corporate values and guiding principles with our employees statewide. From claims processing to care management in big ways and small, our employees are embracing change and learning every day that we can adapt, adjust and achieve in an ever-changing environment.

We are committed to improving collaboration and information sharing to improve the quality of the work we do on behalf of our members and other stakeholders. One significant change has been to introduce social media tools and encourage our employees to become familiar with them. These tools help us share information and collect feedback on a variety of issues; they also promote creativity, collaboration, innovation and discussion.
